The LSU Health Shreveport Graduate Medical Education department hosts an Annual Regional Poster Presentation during the month of May for Residents / Fellows to present their research, that they have completed in clinical, basic science research, quality improvement, and patient safety activities.

"Research is an integral part of the training for our residents and fellows. It is very important to begin the process of asking questions. It is a key component in the training of an individual and learning how to better take care of patients, and how to improve the quality of the health care that we provide to patients" shares Dr. James Morris, Assistant Dean for Graduate Medical Education.
