Pars for Peds

All fore the kids!

The Pars for Peds Golf Tournament was founded by the students of LSU Health Shreveport School of Medicine to address the diverse needs of pediatric patients. Since its inception in 2021, Pars for Peds has raised over $124,000. In 2024, with your generous support, we were able to redesign an outdoor play area and begin renovations on the playroom at St. Mary’s Medical Center.

2024 Registration

The 5th Annual Pars for Peds Golf Tournament will be on Saturday, August 16, 2025 at Querbes Park Golf Course.

Proceeds from the 2025 Pars for Peds Golf Tournament will be dedicated to renovating the playroom at Ochsner Health Shreveport- St. Mary's Medical Center, as well as providing essential donations like pack 'n plays and car seats to support St. Mary's initiatives for safe sleeping and car safety.

Past Impacts

100% of Pars for Peds Proceeds are donated to improve conditions for pediatric patients at OLHS St. Mary's Medical Center.

2021

Proceeds from the inaugural Pars for Peds Golf Tournament helped create the Teen Room at St. Mary's Medical Center, an entertainment center that provides the opportunity for teenage patients to play video games, socialize, and enjoy other activities, while staying close to their healthcare team.

2022 and 2023

Proceeds from the 2nd and 3rd Annual Pars for Peds Golf Tournament went towards the improvement of the atrium at St. Mary's Medical Center.

2024

Proceeds from the 4th Annual Pars for Peds Golf Tournament went towards the renovation of an outdoor play area and the beginning of a playroom renovation.

2025

Proceeds from the 5th Annual Pars for Peds Golf Tournament will go towards the continuation of the playroom renovation at St. Mary's Medical Center and to donate car seats and pack 'n plays to promote St. Mary's safe sleeping and car safety initiatives.
