MEET THE CAMP TIGER TEAM

Hi! My name is Brett Spiess, and I’m a first-year medical student originally from New Orleans, LA––it is an honor to serve as Camp Director this year! As a counselor in 2025, it was amazing to be a part of giving our campers a joyful week they’ll always remember. Witnessing the positive impact Camp Tiger has on kids and families in the Shreveport-Bossier community is truly remarkable and I’m incredibly grateful to be a part of it. My amazing team and I are super excited to create a supportive environment filled with fun activities and events for our campers this year! I can’t wait to see new and familiar faces at Camp Tiger 2026!

My name is Andrew Sparks and I am ecstatic to serve as the Assistant Director for Camp Tiger 2026! I am a first year medical student from Columbus, MS, but I have lived in Shreveport for several years. I was blessed to be a counselor at Camp Tiger in 2025, and it moved me seeing firsthand just how much camp means to both our campers and their families. I will never forget those smiling faces, the laughs and fun memories; and I cannot wait to help our team put on the best week ever for our campers in 2026!

Hey, my name is Cameron Bradford! I am a first year medical student from Shreveport, Louisiana. I’m looking forward to serving as one of this year's Camp Tiger Counselor Co-Directors! I had a great time as a counselor last year, and wanted to be in a position to make this year’s camp even better for our campers. I’m excited for all the great times and fun that's going to come with this summer's camp!

My name is Claire White, and I am a first-year medical student from Shreveport, Louisiana. Camp Tiger was such a fun and meaningful experience for me last year, and I am excited to serve as one of this year’s Counselor Co-Directors! I truly value the positive impact Camp Tiger has on the campers and families, and I am honored to be part of this experience again. Hello everyone! My name is JP Bourgeois from Lafayette, Louisiana, and I am a first-year medical student here at LSU Health Shreveport. I am excited to serve as one of this year’s Camper Co-Directors. I had the privilege of serving as a counselor during Camp Tiger ’25, where I was able to see firsthand the joy it brings to campers, counselors, and their families. I look forward to seeing that same joy again this year and to creating an environment where campers can make new memories to last a lifetime!

Hi! My name is Addison Kennedy, and I am a first year medical student from Shreveport, Louisiana! I can’t wait for Camp Tiger this year, and I am so excited to be one of the Camper Co-Directors! Last year at Camp Tiger, I made so many memories as a counselor and loved seeing how much fun the campers and counselors had all week! I’m looking forward to having another amazing week at camp this year, and I can’t wait to meet everyone and make more memories!
