MEET THE CAMP TIGER TEAM
Navy Coggins
Director
Hi! My name is Navy Coggins, and I’m a first-year medical student originally from Bernice, LA––it is an honor to serve as Camp Director this year! As a counselor in 2024, I saw first-hand how impactful and beneficial Camp Tiger is for the kids and families in the Shreveport-Bossier and surrounding communities. Camp is such a joyful experience for everyone involved, and I’m so grateful to be a part of it. I can’t wait to see new and familiar faces at Camp Tiger 2025! My amazing team and I are super excited to facilitate the fun memories and lasting friendships that are sure to come this summer.
Lillie Jenkins
Counselor Co-Director
Hi, everyone! My name is Lillie Jenkins, and I’m an MS1 from Covington, LA. Serving as a Camp Tiger counselor last summer was a truly rewarding experience, allowing me to connect with both the campers of the Shreveport community and my future medical school classmates. I quickly realized that the camper experience is deeply influenced by the relationship with their counselor, and it’s essential that counselors feel supported and welcomed in order to create those meaningful connections. As counselor co-director, I’m excited to help ensure that future counselors have the resources and environment they need to build these important relationships and contribute to a positive and memorable Camp Tiger experience for all!
