MEET THE CAMP TIGER TEAM

My name is Rachael Bartolina, and I have the honor of being Camp Director this year! I’m a first-year medical student and absolutely loved serving as a camp counselor in 2023. I’m super excited to see all the returning campers and families along with meeting the new ones. This camp is so special because it allows the community to come together to support and love on the kids as well as create long-lasting friendships and memories. Camp Tiger is near and dear to my heart, and I cannot wait to provide such a fun and memorable week for everyone involved!

Being a counselor at camp last year was easily the highlight of my year. I knew that if I still think back to the memories made last summer, the campers do too! I am so excited to be able to help make this year’s camp another memorable experience for all new and returning campers and create new memories and relationships that, without a doubt, will be some of my favorite!

My name is Nadia Haik, and I’m a current MS1 from New Orleans, LA. I am incredibly honored to have been selected as one of the Co-Directors for Camp Tiger this year and can’t wait see the returning campers and their families and meet the new ones too. Camp Tiger truly celebrates each and every camper, allowing life-long friendships and memories to form, and brings this community together in the best way! There’s so much fun, joy, and excitement surrounding this week, and I’m thankful to have the opportunity to make Camp Tiger 2024 the best yet!

My name is Parker Wilson, and I am a first-year medical student from Baton Rouge, LA. Serving as a counselor last year is one of my favorite memories! I cannot wait to give back to an organization that has given so much to the Shreveport community. I am so excited and expectant for Camp Tiger 2024, and I am looking forward to seeing all the new and returning campers!

For me, Camp Tiger was the perfect introduction to the Shreveport/ Bossier City community. To see how eager the whole community was to serve and support Camp Tiger and the campers involved was truly inspiring and made me realize that the camp is a privilege to be a part of. I am so excited to be serve this organization this year, and I cannot wait for Camp Tiger 2024!!

My name is Anna Haydel, and I am a first-year medical student from Houma, Louisiana. I am so thankful I had the opportunity to participate in Camp Tiger last year, and I am even more excited to serve on the team this year! I met so many wonderful campers, families, and counselors that made me realize what a great place LSU Health Shreveport truly is. Camp Tiger has been my favorite part of medical school so far, and I know Camp Tiger 2024 will be even better! 

Hi, my name is Amanda Doerr, and I am so excited to be serving as one of the counselor co-directors this year! Camp Tiger is an amazing way for us to serve our community and really get to know our classmates. I’m beyond ready to make some great memories and see some big smiles from our campers as we put on a fun and packed week of camp!

My name is Caylin Roberts, and I am a first year medical student from West Monroe, Louisiana. I am so excited to serve on the leadership team for Camp Tiger this year! Working as a counselor last year was such a touching experience. This camp brings so much joy to the children and counselors alike. I can’t wait to spend time with our campers!

My name is Sydney Schwab, and I am a first-year medical student from Houma, LA. I found so much joy serving as a camp counselor last summer, and I am beyond grateful for this opportunity to serve as one of the co-directors this year. Seeing the joy Camp Tiger brings to everyone involved is incredible. I cannot wait to make this summer one of the best years yet for the deserving campers and their families.
