ADVISING and CAREER DEVELOPMENT
At every stage of your medical school career, we want our students to feel supported, prepared and provide you with the resources you need to make decisions for prosperous careers in medicine. The following resources are available to assist you on your journey. If you have any questions, reach out to our Office for Medical Education.
Dr. John Brinkley spearheads these efforts as the Director of Career Advising for the school in collaboration with the Office of Medical Education. Dr. Brinkley’s focus is to help students navigate their career path, become competitive applicants, and make informed career choices. This includes helping students decide what courses to take, what experiences to pursue, finding credible information and resources, helping students connect with others, and navigating the application process. Dr. Brinkley has an open-door policy for students to meet and address their individual questions and needs.
